Week 5-"Chapter 2 Excerpt"

Book Excerpt: NEW!
This week, I am sharing an excerpt from the 2021 chapter. This is the second chapter of the book and was the most difficult chapter for me to write because it recounts the details of the losses of my three immediate family members.

Book Signing Event: NEW!
Please join me on Friday, November 3rd during the Atlanta Writer’s Conference Book Fair at the Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. I will be selling and signing copies of my book, as well as engaging with attendees. Details will be added to the Events tab, closer to the date.

I wondered also how you were going to get through the lost of your mother, brother and now your father was in critical condition. I was happy when I reached out to you and you told me it was ok to come to the hospital to be with you. I could hear your mother saying. now Dorothy you. Know some of you should go be with Kelli, she’s all alone!! So glad I came to say my goodbyes to a dear friend and church member!!♥️♥️
Dorothy, thank you so much for your kind words and for your kindness. You have no idea how much it meant for you and the other Westminster folks, including Pastor Karen to check on me and visit me during such a difficult time. In spite of my circumstances, I never felt alone. God sent so many wonderful people, like yourself to be with me.
